Today Im doing a 100 percent water change! Which means i put the fish aside in a small container while i completely change out the water inside their tanks. Man i did not know that fish could get this smelly. It was that bad of an odor, but it was pretty strong. I first took out the fishes with a net and put them in separate cups and then cleaned out the rocks with hot water to sterilize and get rid of any bacteria, and then i rinsed out the tanks thoroughly. The water change took me about 45 minutes. Once i filled up the tanks with room temperature purified water, i added in one and a half teaspoons of the chlorine conditioner since i have a 1.5 gallon tank. Then i let the tank sit for half an hour and put Pal and Buddy back in! I also included a cup to sit in the tank this time so they have something to swim in or rest on top of!
