This year has been such an amazing year. Its had many wonderful projects and we all had fun doing them. I really like how the way we've had class, like the way things have changes for class. I really like the new weekly schedule too. As the year is coming closer to ending, even though some days we just want to get out of class I'll remember this class as one of my favorites
Aleks is benefiting my math a lot better. I really like the program because if I don't understand a problem I can just click on explain and it will just show me how to solve the problem step by step. one thing I don't like about aleks is that sometimes I may forget to do it and I can really impact my grade because it makes a big portion of my final grade. One of my goals for the next semester is do do aleks on a more consecutive basis. Usually I just wait until the last few days to do the required 3 hours or 10 topics. And I want to fix that by going on daily for at least 45 minutes so i can get it done throughout the whole week instead of just spending my whole Saturday doing 3 hours of aleks. Even though sometimes I do a little bad on a tests I still take the advantage to correct it. I like how if you get or do something wrong, as long as you finish it you have the opportunity to re-do it and make it better. While doing this I learn from all of the mistakes I did from the start. The only thing I'm probably struggling with is the actual day of the test its like i die a little inside and I get scared that I might bomb the test. Math Problem!Factoring by grouping
xw+yx+2w+2y Group like terms (xw+yx)+(2w+2y) Take the common terms and put them outside of the parenthesis x(w+y) + 2(w+y) Do you notice something similar ? Take the two similar terms and you will use these as your first two terms (w+y) Now you still have the x and the 2 left over so those will be your other two terms (w+y)(x+2) Theres your answer ! |
